Document Chaining not working

I tried doing Document Chaining but it isn't working. Can anyone help me out in this.

Hey,

Sorry but i forget to mention one thing:

During Cyclic Dimension chaining , State of Selection are not being transferred.

I mean:

In Dashboard1 if i make a selection and now i go to Dashboard2 now Selection is transferred of Dashboard1 to Dashboard2. But now when i go to Dashboard1 from Dashboard2 then selection are not transferred to Dashboard1. Why is it so?

You need to add one more action before Opening a Qv document and that is External-Close this document.

Make sure you enabled transfer state under action tab.

Transfer State - Will pass the selection in the current application to the other (Column name must be same in both the application)

Apply State on top of current - Will apply the selection on top of the current selection in the other

Checking the option will maintain the selections made in one document into the chained document provided the fields match.
