Document in server and in client is not the same

Hey all,

I'm facing a weird issue with QV document:

there is a difference in a column sort if I open a certain QV document in server or in client.

In server the column is in a descending order, while when opening the exact same document in client - this column is sorted in an ascending way, while all rest of the data is the same.

What can cause this issue?

How to fix it?

Thanks!

P.S. The sort problem is not with a specific column, it's actually with the whole document sorting...

Probably document in server (you access it with access point?) is not correctly published, if no, another idea could be the settings of browser (or server) and your local computer that sort fields (Dates for example) in different ways

Hello Linoy,

This is a bug with sorting in Qlikview. The sort order changes in the access point.

The column which you are mentioning, is it a dimension or expression?

Default Sorting on expression does not work properly on access point.

To be on safer side we can check "Interactive Sort" box.

Hi Gopal,

the column is an expression, and interactive sort is checked...

Does this problem persist with other users too from client

It's not access point, it's LAN.

Where I see local sort settings?
