Does discount increase the selected product sale?

I have attached 2 files here and I have to show if the discount of a product increases its sale.

there is a unit price discount in the data.

what I need to see is if there is an increase in the sales of these products when there is a discount vs. when there is no discount.

I am really new at this so I am not sure if this is even possible just from the data I have

i'm not really sure you have enough good data, but you do have some data.  Not being a data scientist, and just looking at the numbers, it would appear that discounting does drive buying activity.  With that said though, it may not really be that Discounts drive sales.  This is the app I did, to quickly visualize some of the data.  If I were doing this analysis, I would like to have better data before making a recommendation.
