Donut Pie Chart?

Hi Experts,

Under what circumstances is there a Business or Technical reason to using Donut Pie Chart as opposed to the regular Pie Chart?

When you are still using a printer and want to save ink.

Every other reason, to my knowledge, is just about looks so not technical.

Hi Paul,

               Pie and Donut charts are equally bad.

You could choose to show kpi's / totals in the centre ..this way you are efficiently using the space available

And it looks fancy .
