I have gone through the forum and one solution is to create a straight table for what I need. I am looking for a simpler solution.
In an other BI tool which I have used, when looking at say a bar chart we can left-click on a bar and say show data. This shows the raw data which went up to build up that bar or dimension.
In simple words lets say we have a graph which shows monthly sales in bars and region is a second dimension. The bar of 2012 shows say $ 57,000 for Western region and $ 157,000 for Eastern region. Can I drill down from the graph to see what are the actual data rows that make up the $ 57,000.
I am using an evaluation version at the moment.
Thanks.
There is no simpler solution than showing a straight table (or table box) with the underlying data. Here's a nice (but perhaps not very simple) example that has a Show Data-like popup.
