Drill-down group dimension question

Hi ,

I need to set up drill down group dimension using columns  multiple script tabs and when i do that drill-down is not working.

Here is my scenario - I have 2 scripts in 2 tabs

Tab1 has EmplBusinessUnit, EmployeeID

Tab2 has TotalspendEmplBusinessUnit, EmployeeID

When i create a calculated dimension group with first field as 'BusinessUnit = if (isnull(EmplBusinessUnit), TotalspendEmplBusinessUnit,EmplBusinessUnit)

and second drill down field as EmployeeID.

When I pulled this group to my straight table and click on Business Unit it is not doing drill-down to EmployeeID.

Is there some limitation in Qlikview that drilldown is not enabled when using columns from 2 different tabs(Tables) or using if(isnull) in groups?

Drill down should work for your requirements. Can you upload the sample qvw meeting the requirements?

Attached is the Sample QV file with Grouped Drill-down Dimension. As you can see when i click on any Business Unit it is not doing drill down to Employee Information. Please let me know if there is something I am missing.

I guess this is some kind of bug or defect using grouped dimension drill-down capability in Qlikview or may i muast be missing something in getting that.

Kalyan, I experienced the same challenge with the drilldown group. I am using QV 10 SR4. Did you try this in QV11 or the previous 9 versions?

OK Thanks Manoj, It's just not me then.

I will have to download QV11 and then try this in that version if that works.
