ERP Solutions & Qlikview

Hi,

We currently use Qlikview on Sage Line 500.

Now we wish to review our ERP system comparing Sage 500 v Sap Business One v Microsoft Dynamics etc.........

Has anybody undergone a similar project recently, if so can they give me advice.

Is there a best practice to assessing ERP systems?; any other information.

Can somebody send me a link to an independent website or report.

thanks..

Hi,

I can only talk to you about MS Dynamics as I worked a lot with Navision.

At the first sight I would try Dynamics as QlikView developped a specific connector.

Also the Navision interface is quite simple (common tabular view).

I hope this will help you (a little) !

Hi Sebastian,

what do you mean by:

"..QlikView developped a specific connector"

Does the connector for Navision already exists?

Hi,

there is a QlikView connector "NAVdiscovery" from prisma informatik GmbH in Nuremberg/Germany (www.prisma-informatik.de).

With NAVdiscovery it's possible to export complete executable QlikView-Scripts directly from Navision. You can define the relevant tables and relations. Even individual fields and tables will be included. Basic templates exist for the most relevant tables.

Furthermore, NAVdiscovery enables you to embed the QV objects directly inside a NAV system:

Best regards,

Andrea from prisma informatik
