ETL performance question: Why 1core cpu works?

HI,

I set up a windows2003 64bit server with 8G ram and 4 core intel cpu.

And I have a 10,000,000 records table which needs to etl from an oracle server.

I notice the cpu 's usage is 23%, 1 core is working while others are idle.

The attachment is the pic of the server performance.

Can I use the other core?

Hi,

this is the behavior of version 9. Since version 10 the use of multiple cores during load is included.

Hi Ralf, Thanks for your reply. Could you please tell me: if I load data into QVD file with V10, can I load the QVD file into QVW which created by V9?
