Editing Access Point For Own Company's Logo

Hi,

I am just wondering if it possible to edit the background landing page of the Qlikview access point.

Instead of Qlikview logos appearing I have been asked to use my company's logo. So can I upload my own background Image on the access point?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Thanks,

James

Yes, that's perfectly possible (don't know if this is allowed, but anyway)

The AP landing page is just a web site consisting of images, HTML pages and a lot of JavaScript code.

Have a look in C:\Program Files\QlikView\Web. That's the document root for the "web site". File index.htm is the landing page that refers somehow to an image called images\logo_main.png. Replace that one with your company logo, but please do respect the size, aspect ratio and background transparency of the original image. Or your AP will become quite ugly.

Best,

Peter

Also remember that any QV server software upgrade will (or at least used to) reset everything to Qlikview default, so it's worth having a backup of your own configuration if you're going to do this.
