I want to know how can we generate a email alert in qlikview ,what settings we required in server

Hi Darshika,

To set the Email Notifications you need the access for QMC(Qlikview Management Console).

Steps: Lo gin to QMC >Select>Documents>User Documents> Select the file for which you need get alert  and create the task >go to notification settings and check the notification check box.

Currently I don't have access for QMC.

IN source document>Select the required qvw file >then in the right side you will see a +mark >click on it >this will provide the option to create task
