Enable/Disable the Read only option using trigger

Is it possible to enable/disable the read only option based on the logged in users?

Like, User 'X' should be able to play with the charts but the same chart should be set as read only for the user 'Y'

If we're talking about creation of server objects, you can assign rights for specific users for specific documents under QEMC > Documents > User Documents > Doc > Server > Server Objects > Authorization.
