Encrypting Password

Hi All,

Please find the attached application. Wants to encrypt the password. Dont want it in visible.

Password is 999(shows the value visibly)

want like the *** (like our gmail signin)

Hello,

Such a thing is not possible in QlikView. An inputbox is intended for introducing values for variables, so variables store those values.

Any change you do in formats will make the value of the "password" variable not matching, and so any conditional related not working. It's like drawing characters in white... You don't see them, but just a selection with the mouse will reveal the password.

If you really need security and hide passwords, use Section Access.
