Error in Uploading Excel file

Hi everyone,

I got a error from Qlikview when I upload a excel file to qlikview 9.0 SR3 as follow:

In Edit Script page, I use the File Wizard to open the Excel file. Then, I choose "Table" to be the right sheet, "Labels" to be embedded labels. After that, here is the problem, I choose Header Size = Line, and value = 4. Now the wizard screen only shown ne a blank page with word "Error".

Any help?

Hi,

why can'y u remove the Blank lines in excel?

Remove the Blank Lines and set Header Size=Lines and by default it will point to 0

try this...

Hi,

I`m trying to reproduce your scenatio. but with no success. i`m not gettiing any error. its working as expected.

I`m also using 9.0 SR3

Thanks for yoor reply. Unfortunately, the format of data files are fixed and there is only one file having problem. Therefore, I do't want to change adjust all file formats because of it.

I can't wait this issue. But I get round it by recreate the data file again. The strange part is that qlikview is working this time, even though I can't spot any different bewteen 2 files (they are actually identical...
