Error in expression: ‘)’ expected - (but no error in expressions)

I have a simple chart with 5 very basic expressions. When I filter on "Year"  it works fine, however as soon as I removed the Year filter I get an " Error in expression: ‘)’ expected " message for my chart.

Any idea on why this happens? We just upgraded to V12.

There is no error in old version 11.xx ? Do You have variables in Your Expressions ?

No variables. Just simple expressions. What I don't understand is why it works when there is a Year filter on, but then I get the error message when I remove the filter.
