Hi,
I want to have a graph showing the total count of item by date, the user should be be able to filter by date, still having the total amount.
For example with the datas : year,nb
2000,2 2001,5 2003,1 2004,16 2005,10 2006,11
I can do easily a graph showing
2000,2 2001,7 2003,8 2004,24 2005,34 2006,45
But if filterring on 2005,2006, i get : 2005,10 2006,21 I want to have : 2005,34 2006,45.
See also example qv file attached.
How can I do that ?
Many thanks
I think we can handle this case on script ...
BR
ONDERRR
Well probably by calculate the total by date in the script I suppose, but I have to do that in the graph because I have many other filter possible than the date.
I wonder if it can be done unsing set analysis.
See calculated dimensions and the third expression.
hope that helps you
Thanks, great ! The only problem remaining is that when selecting 3 years, it shows only one value for the 3 years together..."2006,2007,2008' grouped.
If you have an idea...
Yes you're right, I didn't tryed that...
if you simply take the year as dimension, is that okay for you ?
I tried that, values are OK, but the graph dumps all values of year, so I don't have the zoom effect I want...I don't understand why all year values are dumped on the X axis in that case. Do you ?
Yes it's normal because the expression count values for each previous year. I search what we can do to hide these values.
Well, still no way to do that, if anyone has an idea...
