I have a number of reports which would be extremely difficult to replicate within the back end code - set analysis etc, but I would like to get a daily export of them everyday.
Would it be possible to automate the export of a front end report from the back end or would VB be needed?
I'd recommend using Publisher to distribute the reports to users, if Publisher is not activated then you can do some VB scripting to get the emails sent. But this is not an ideal solution for complex distribution scenarios.
You can probably cobble something together using a macro. But using Publisher or NPrinting or QV Report is probably more powerful, robust and a lot easier.
