Export to Excel (Office 2010)

Hi all...

We are currently in the process of upgrading our network to Active Directory.

As part of this process we are testing QlikView within the new network and as such have a test server running in the new domion.

So far I have been able to load a report via internet explorer 8.

On my tables, I have given the user the ability to export to MS Excel (as part of this upgrade we are moving to Office 2010).

I have created a very simple report with a table which has 10 lines so nothing too big.

When I click on the export to excel option on either the caption bar (or by right clicking on the table) all that happens is that Excel opens but I have no worksheet - just a grey background.

Anyone any ides?

Regards

Paul

Hi Peter

We did get a resolution to this - I forgot to update this post.

Our network manager reinstalled the IE Plug In and also did a repair on MS Office 2010.

This resolved the issue...

Paul

Hi Paul,

Did you get this working in the end?

If not, it looks like the most likely solution is to turn off protected mode in IE or add your QV server to the trusted zone/sites and see what happens.

Thanks
Peter.

Hi, what kind of repair in MS Office 2010 you are talking about? I have the same issue and did reinstall the IE plugin.

I believe that it was just a standard repair...

Start | Control Panel | Programs and Features | MS Office 2010 | Change | Repair

Hope this helps...
