Hi,

When I export a chart to excel my date dimension is represented as the numeric value of the date e.g

39997

The user then needs to format the cell and set it to type Date. Is there a way to bypass this?

You must display your dimension as a TEXT:

In this case your dimension can be a calculated dimension such as TEXT(MyDateFiled)

This should make it work.

I purpose in Settings -> Document Properties -> Number you need to define a Date format for this field
