Hi all,
In all the user's whoever is using Windows 7 , export to Excel is not working. I tried lot of things like going in compatibility mode, adding the sites to the Secured Sites list, but nothing is working. Does any one have any solution? Thanks in advance.
With regards
Amar
Hi Amar,
The best way round....try out this- right click on the chart and select export and now from drop down select csv format. This will help you to export large amount od data/records with ease and with less time consumption.
Dear Gaurav,
You know, Everyone interested in readymade system . noone want manual intervention so pls suggest accordingly.
dj-kalle, thanks, that worked perfectly.
Hi Gaurav, that does allow access to the data (and I had done that prevoiusly). However I have financial data in multiple currencies, and exporting as text means that numbers become text, and currency symbols are also just text, making the data impossible to work with correctly.
what is the version of QV you are using ?.
pls try in QV 9 SR7.
hi,
i too getting the same problem when sending sheet objects to display in excel file.
My system having Windows7 and 64- bit and i installed Qlikview 64 bit, how can i solve the problem of opening the objects in excel through macros.
And please can you give me clear path of IE option --> Access point, what you said in this post.
Thnks
What is manual intervention? I didn't get it...... It's another way round of doing things when you are not landing up into something concrete.
dj-kalle: Your response fixed it for me! Thanks a bunch!!!!
Found a Solution for it: Go to Tools option in the internet explorer.---->Go to Security. Add the the Accesspoint to the secured websites.
Having the domain in Trusted Sites and Protected Mode Off worked for me. I suspect Protected Mode to be the main culprit
Protected mode worked for us as well with QV10SR3
