Hi all,
In all the user's whoever is using Windows 7 , export to Excel is not working. I tried lot of things like going in compatibility mode, adding the sites to the Secured Sites list, but nothing is working. Does any one have any solution? Thanks in advance.
With regards
Amar
We had the same problem after migration to Windows 7 and the solutions above worked.
When the site was added to the Trusted Sites, then Protected Mode no longer applied to it, thus it allowed 'Send To Excel' and macros using that to work.
One way to test is to open IE and right-click 'Run as administrator', which also switches off Protected Mode.
Many thanks to jsomsen and LeeAlderdice for your guidance!
Hi all,
Can you please suggest what kind of IE plugin we need to install for this.
Please suggest me name for plugin.
Thanks
Hi all,
I am also facing same issue.
Can u plz share a link for downloading plugin.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks
is there another work around to turning protected mode off? my company's security policy will periodically overwrite this if i change it. therefore this is not a good option.
I guess if the domain is added to the list of trusted sites by intranet admin team, you may not need to turn off protected mode locally.
Morning,
We are having similar issues with a small number of users - they cannot export to Excel (it appears to be a windows 7 Issue with Chrome).
i see from the thread that installing the IE plugin (32bit?) seems to solve the export to the problem.
what i don't understand is how installing a plugin designed for IE fixes an issue with Chrome?
Or are people suggesting that users install the 32bit version of IE (is this if they're using win 7 64bit?), and use that with the plugin instead of using Chrome?
Can anyone please expand?
Hi Please try with IE version(IE 10 and above)
thanks, will do
