Exporting Chart to Excel and Saving to a path

Requirement: I want to export a chart object into an excel and save that excel to a specified path.

Can any one help me in getting this

Short answer: using Ajax is not possible.

Using Desktop as client or IE Plugin, check this: Export to Excel
