Exporting Qlickview documents

Hi,

I have some question about exporting qlickview docs

I have a document createad and I want to insert it in a pdf document. I want to insert the whole document, I don't want to copy & paste each image or table, is it posibble

I want to see the whole doc in pdf and I don't need this doc to be dinamic.

Any other usefull way to export qlickview to pdf or similar formats will be apreciatted

Not that i know of.  If you use the 'Reports' editor in qlikview desktop you have to drag object by object.

If you do Nprinting, its the same thing, just with much greater flexibility.

Thanks Jonatahn, but I need to export from documento, not from report.

What is  Nprinting?

Can anybody help me with this exporting issue?

Nprinting is a new reporting component that Qlik acquired from VIZUBI.  You use it to author reports, the reports have stronger layout controls. You can add all the object from every sheet in the dashboard into a multipage PDF for example and give users the ability to export that PDF from the dashboard using NPrinting on-demand. We have personal edition vnersion now and we are thinking in migrate to some local clients licese or to a server license with CALs

Do we need an extra license for Nprinting?

There is a developer license and a server license.  contact qlik for quotes but feel free to ask any technical questions on community. good luck

Hi,

just to add to whats been already said, with NPrinting you have the option of taking a snapshot of an entire tab or any object you need. So you can do this with all the tabs in your existing document and export it to pdf.

There are many other options that can be done with NPrinting (besides you can combine filters, variables, mail recipients, etc). But just talking about what you need, it can be perfectly done with NPrinting,

Also I'm not sure that you can use NPrinting with personal edition (I'm almost sure that is not possible), however like it's being said by Jonathan, you may contact Qlik Sales in order to get a quotation and solve any doubt you may have,

NPrinting is not supported on QlikView Personal Edition, you need a licenced copy of QlikView.

There is a client version of NPrinting which is used to develop the reports and can manually run a job to distribute reports. To automatically distribute reports on a schedule you will need an NPrinting server licence.
