Exporting objects to Excel

I have  a simple question,

If you export a objecto to an Excel file like a object.

Can you work with this Excel file in a laptop or PC with no Qlicjview installation?

I am having problems exporting like an object, it doesn't work...is it depend on the Excel version?

Thanks,

Hello,

If you want to export QlikView objects to Excel and save Qlik's functionality - it's not possible.

You can export QlikView objects as picture or table and than work with this data.

Technically you can not export a QlikView object. An object can be embedded in Excel. This means that you have a object placeholder in Excel. The actual data in the object comes from QlikView, so you need to make sure the object can reach the QlikView source.

Right click on the object in Excel and evaluate if the properties are accurate, especially the path to the QlikView source.
