Expression/Cyclic group not showing data

Hi everybody,

I have been having troubles with an expression I am trying to get working.

I want to show the role of a medical professional in the primary organization this person works.

For this I am using the following expression in a pivot table:

Only({<[Primary Address]={'Yes'},[Customer Type]={'Medical Professional'}>}[Affiliation Role])

I have a two part questin about this, part 1:

When i open my qvw i see empty tables (the relevant pivot table is the one on the left but due to privacy i'm only showing a little bit of it):

When i select (and then deselect) a random role from the listbox in the middle i get this:

As you can see, the tables to the left and right are now filled with roles. How come they are not filled directly from the beginning?

In another sheet on my dashboard i want to add this 'affiliation Role' to a cyclic group, but it doesnt show any data, neither as a dimension, nor as a expression in cyclic group as an expression like the one mentioned above.

Anyone have an idea?

Pretty difficult to analyse this behavior purely based on a description and some screenshots. Can you post a (scrambled) example document with the same anomaly?

BTW are you running the latest release of QlikView? There was a bug in the associative engine of 12.20SRxx that did similar things (and sometimes even weirder stuff like the one reported in Mutually exclusive issue with QV12)
