Hello,
I have a column in chart named HMDAU, I want to count only all value begenning by 'EX******'
Someone have an idea how to do?
Thank
count({<HMDAU={'EX*'}>}HMDAU)
Hello,
Thank you for your reply
This expression give me the result but not the list value begining by EX********
For example in my chart I have
HMDAU
0
0
0
0
0
0
0
Total=162
The total is correct but in the chart the value is 0 and not EX*******
will you pleasee post your sample app
Hi,
Mr, Wassenaar's answer should work, do you have any sample of your source and what your table should look? or screenshots.
Regards,
Alex
can you give sample data ?
Hello,
See Under the result, is not possible to have the value beginning by 'EX*******' in place of the numeric value " 1 "?

I guess you are trying with a chart. If so, then try with Only()/Concat() functions, like:
=Only({<HMDAU={'EX*'}>} Distinct HMDAU) // if you want single value per row
Hi,
create a straight table
on your dimension tab select "HMDAU" (or whatever your table name is)
on your Expression tab paste this
if( Dimensionality() = 1,
only({<HMDAU = {'AA*'}>}HMDAU),
count({<HMDAU= {'AA*'}>}HMDAU))
Then go to Presentation tab
click your dimension then click "Hide column" below
Regards,
Alex
try the following expression:
=if(wildmatch(HMDAU,'EX*'),count(HMDAU))
hope it will work..
