Expression use in bar chart

Hi
I need the scale in a bar chart to show KCHF (Thousends). I was able to switch the number format in the Number section of the chart properties by setting the "Thousend Symbol" to KCHF.
I also need to show the values on the bars. These seem to ignore the Thousend setting and show CHF.
I have duplicated my expression now, the first is no Bar but Value on Data Points and expression / 1000.
The second has the correct expression and the Thousend Symbol.
This setting provides now the Scale and Values to show KCHF.
Is it really necessary to duplicate the expression or did I create a weird configuration? It looks to me like having to make the chart unnecessary complicated.

hi Juerg,

Instead of KCHF try it as (K)CHF.
