Extract data from IBM TM1 Cube to Qlikview

I have installed the TM1 OLE DB driver and successfully connect to the data source in Qlikview, but now here I am wondering what to do next. How do i extract the data?

Solved it by creating a process in TM1 to extract the data to a flat file, then picked up the flat file in qlickview. Not the best way but it works if u dont need to have real time data.

I think the only other way is to create a MDX query to interrogate the TM1 cubes but it's not really simple (need to know both the MDX syntax and the cube model).

The other problem is that the TM1 cube would store not only the detailled data but also the agregated one.

In qlikview, you would prefer to query only the detailed data to make you own agregation.

You should then query only the detailed data.....
