Hi
I'm using a personal edition of QlikView trying to build apps that are more solid and detailed than what the company can achieve from PowerBI.
BUT..........
For the second time one of my apps gets broken. My attempt to convice the leaders of my company that QlikView is much better than PowerBI is not getting easier after this second crash...
Hmm, i know the path says Sense, but it is QlikView...
It seems to happen when the load somehow is interrupted, ironically the last time it was caused by an total overload on RAM caused by PowerBI... The whole computer crashed and I had to force a restart...
Now I've lost many days of work, my backup file is 2 week old (yes, i should create backup files every hour.....)
Does anyone know how I can get my CashReport app back to life??
I have tried to load without data.
I have tried to edit ScriptRescue = 1, ApplicationRescue = 1 etc....
Best regards
Espen
If the app will not load without data, it may be corrupt. For future development, you may want to consider using a Project Folder. Everytime you save the app, the folder is updated.
The only other option would be to use the Desktop Client Settings\User Preferences\Save tab settings to setup automatic backups that way, but the other poster's comment about prj folder is good as well.
