From this information you cannot deduce whether your load script is at fault, or something else in the QDS Task.

Generate a document log (in QV Desktop, enable Settings->Document Properties->General->Generate Logfile) and check that for script errors.

Hey Dinesh, I checked the document path in QMC, and it indeed matches the document path displayed in the error message.

Oh and by the way, the Log file will be called DocumentLog.txt and will reside in the same subdirectory as the TaskLog.txt

When I access the Qlikview document from the desktop (it's located on a server), the Document Properties option under the Settings tab is not selectable. Is there anything else I can do?

That's because Section Access is active in this document, and your account is assigned role = USER when you open it. People with Role = ADMIN (usually the developer) are able to restore the Document Properties setting (and everything else).

Note that we're talking about the Source Document, in case your set-up includes a publisher. User documents are useless because they are overwritten. Do you have a document copy available from the developer? Or can you ask your developer to set the "Generate Logfile" checkbox? That's about the only way to generate a load script log.

Best,

Peter
