Failed task after server reboot/crash ?

We face a scenario where server gets rebooted during weekend or may get crash in between. So during this task from QMC gets failed. here we need to manually restart the task which we want to avoid.

By any chance can we identify the tasks which are failed due to restart/crash and can we restart them automatically once the box is up.

Scheduling task to avoid this issue is not the right way though as box may get crash at any time.

Thanks.

Hi @SRT10,

So I think the best path forward here would be to determine why your QlikView Server is crashing and then take steps to mitigate.

When you launch the QMC, you can check the Status tab > Tasks to see which tasks have failed, if any. Then correlate the timestamp of the failed tasks with the timestamp of the server crash.  Also, if you have scheduled restarts of the QlikView Server, do not schedule reload/distribution tasks to overlap this reboot schedule.

Best Regards
