Failed to open Qlikview Document, popup 'created by another Qlikview personal edition'

We use Qlikview that leasing license from server.

From this week, we could not open qlikview documents from QlikeView which installed on our own laptop or qlikview server

it popup error as:

'This Qlikview document was created by another Qlikview personal edition user or from another computer...

We use QlikView 11.20 R14 and 'Open in Server' to connect to Qlikview server.

And we could open these document before.

Please check with your administrator if..

- You are still assigned a Named CAL

- License lease is still allowed

I’m administrator of QlikView. As my account the CALs is empty

And I have documents as；

If I need to add CALs for my account, how could I do?

And where could I check ‘License lease is still allowed’?

You have to again lease the license.

Follow your guide and now I could open documents.:)

Go to the System tab, select Licenses (top left), go to the CALs tab (right side of the screen).

On "General" you can check if license lease is allowed.

On "Assigned CALs" you can check who has a Named CAL assigned.

Hi,

Your lease must have expired which occurs every 30 days.

OR

You only get 3 attempts to log in from different computer or user name, other than the personal addition user who had created it.

Solution:

In first scenario, You can go to server and manually lease.

In second scenario, it can only be opened by the same user credentials on the same Computer.
