Failed to open document on Access Point

Hi Friends,

I have one app which has section access on multiple fields, one with Master data field and other on Fact field, Section access getting applied on physical file, but when i am deploying this app to access point, it is saying Failed to open document.

Thanks in advance.

Without knowing more details, it is hard to tell.

The error-message also shows up, when there are no data "allowed" to be disclosed.

Few points:

Did you observe Capitals in Section-Access?

Do the fields shown in Section-Access really exist in your application?

Do the field-contents match your Section-Access?

Have you placed the tickmarks for Section-Access under "Opening"?

Is the spelling of the users correct and in line with your OS?

Else please post an example

Peter

All these point covered in my app , this is happening because i am applying section access on multiple fields. because on single field everything working fine.

Even then it should work and is not unusual.

Do these fields exlude each other? Do all combinations fail, or only some?

Can you post an example?

Why are you distributing to a folder and not to a QlikView Server?

The client is following this process from quite long time.

that's why we are doing.

Your customer is doing this because he has been doing it like this forever?

AFAIK publishing to a folder does not include permissions or publication targets. Or any other properties.

1: did you use SERVICE ACCOUNT name as admin ? because it reloads the data in access point?

2: try unchecking the strict exclusion only and try.

for multiple fields in section access this link will be helpful

Section Access with multiple fields
