Fast copy and paste formats for charts

Hi,

Is there a fast copy and paste for the whole document for charts, I have changed font colors and gridlines/colors.

Each chart takes an age to change surely there is a quck way.

Thanks,

Neil.

You can use the Paintbrush toolbar icon.  While normally only for single copies, double-click the icon and the paintbrush tool will remain active for as long as you don't deselect it (or press Esc).

[Edit] Replaced imaginary Ctrl-feature by the correct one.

Now that's something new for me! I never knew that you could hold the Ctrl-Key down to apply the paintbrush to multiple targets. Thanks Peter.

You can also double click the Paintbrush option to hold the selection.

CTRL + A and CTRL + V

the above will copy all objects and paste them where ever you want in the other sheet

Sorry Jonathan, my mistake. Double-clicking helps, Ctrl doesn't. My bad

Thanks Peter for sharing this, I never aware of this.

Neil,

You can use the Format Painter Tool for copying the Formats as pcammaert suggested.

I do apologize Jagan. I mixed things up. Double-clicking works, Ctrl doesn't.

Hi Peter,

Ctrl is also working in 11.2 SR5, not sure which version you are using.

select "Objects in this documents" and  ("Only this object type" or "all objects")
