See if Excel file has some special characters in the field names, and rename.

Hi,

Do not wrap text (Alt+Return) in the headlines of your Excel sheet.

If the headlines in Excel are not wrapped it should work with English characters / layout at least. Maybe it would help to replace special characters with such you find in the English alphabet? In order to test if the headers really cause the problem, rename your columns in Excel, e.g. column01, column02, etc., and import data. You can give them a more convenient alias (load ... AS ...) in the script.

Check the encoding of excel file to be unicode. Otherwise export to csv and use Unicode encoding
