Fields are not found in Excel File.

Hi Experts,

I have one Excel file which is contain field "Year".

But when i try to create QVD file on that Excel file, i am getting one Error:

"Field not found - <Year>

SQL SELECT *

FROM `D:\eAgisco_BI\Qlik View\Gaurav\MonthlySalesReport.xlsx`.`Sheet1$`"

My Script is :

ODBC

CONNECT

Monthly_Report:

LOAD
Month,
Quarter,
Name,
Sales,
Year;

SQL SELECT *
FROM `D:\eAgisco_BI\Qlik View\Gaurav\MonthlySalesReport.xlsx`.`Sheet1$`;

STORE Monthly_Report INTO D:\eAgisco_BI\Qlik View\QvdFiles\Monthly_Data.qvd;

Although Same script is running sucessfully for other Excel File.

Plese give me a Solution.

might be problem while connection

or odbc connection is not proper

it should appear like

ODbc Connect to ......

Hi Sunil,

Yes you are right it should be like:

ODBC CONNECT TO [ExcelFile;DBQ=D;\eAgisco_BI\QlikView\Gaurav\Monthlt_Sales_Report.xlsx];

But sfter putting this line Connection is established Sucessfully but still it is Showing Same Error.

Is it any other thing which is missing??

this path is for excel file and u can pull directly from  Control+E and Then pull excel using table files button

[ExcelFile;DBQ=D;\eAgisco_BI\QlikView\Gaurav\Monthlt_Sales_Report.xlsx];

i thing no need to use

Odbc Connect to .....
