File types in Qlikview

Hi,

Could you please explain brief information about below files?

.PGO , .SHARED, .META

What are those?

Why are those?

When those will create?

How to create?

Necessity of those files?

How to open?

Hi Narayan,

       These files are created in server by default when u push the .qvw file into server location

.Meta is created once u place the qvw file into location

.Shared file is created when ever the .qvw files is opened in " Access point"

if u have QV server connection then these files are visible to u

Hi Narayan,

Basically there will be three types of files in your qlikview folder other then .QVW

1) .pgo file consist the license details (session , document , user CAl)

2) .meta file contains document properties details (i.e , document category, distribution list information e.t.c)

3) .Shared file contains the details of all the shared object created by the user for the respected report.
