Force Keyword

Hey,

I was going through Force Keyword. I come across statement:

"The force statement has no effect in the access section: all field values

loaded are case insensitive."

What does it mean? Does it has something to do with Section Access?

Thanks

The feature as such allows you to generalize the case of loaded text content. As you can see in attached example the loaded data will be forced to a specified case with the FORCE keyword.

The manual refers to that the FORCE keyword will not be applied if specified within a Section Access definition. It will be ignored if defined between keywords SECTION ACCESS and SECTION APPLICATION.

Hey,

I have tried putting the Force keyword in between the Section Access and Section Application but it is still working.

Plz have a look and let me where i am wrong.

THanks

No, the FORCE keyword will not be applied. The FORCE keyword will be ignored within the section access section.

The section access table itself will not be visible for you, so you will not be able to see if it is applied or not, you will simply have to trust me on this one.
