Formatting Continuous X Axis

Hi,

I m having a continuous X axis based on field storing Dates. This x-axis field has only Weekending date stored in it and when enabling the X-axis as continuous X-axis is getting displayed the dates based on the width of the chart and not Weekending date as stored in field.

Help me how can I format Continuous X-axis field.

Thanks,

Rakul.

Thanks for writing back,

My issue is not the Number formatting, the date field displays date in date format but it displays dates on auto interval but not Weekending dates.

I want the x-axis to be continuous and at same time controlling what dates needs to displayed. Tried with Static Min, Max and Step too but it has no effect on continuous x-axis.

Thanks,

Rakul.

Can you share a sample to try and test it out?

Hi Sunny,

Please find below sample data. I want to draw a vertical reference line on few WeekEnd. To achieve this I have to enable Continuous X-Axis but after enabling it the WeekEnd are not displaying the WeekEnd but auto Date based on the chart area.

May be here is this one possibility

This will work only if there is space for the labels to show up... so if you make the chart smaller is probably start to not work.... But I guess that's one limitation of continuous axis
