Function to detect if back or forward action is availble

Hi Qlik community,

I have a QlikView document which has 2 buttons Back and Forward. However they're both enabled. But if you look at the Back and Forward buttons on the navigation menu you will notice that Forward is deselected. I would like the same functionality in the button. In other words, is there a boolean function of sorts that tells me if there is a forward or back action currently available to the user. Using this function, I can then disable one/both the buttons accordingly. Hope that made sense.

PS. I would like to avoid the use of buttons

Thanks in advance.

Check this link out -> Conditional Back/Forward Buttons – Infinity Insight Blog

The attached application does seem to have a way to make it work. I will trace it and see if I can implement the same for you.

Best,

Sunny
