Gauge Chart - Label Font Size

Hi all,

I would like to change the font size of the labels of my gauge chart.

I've tried in Chart Properties-Presentation but it doen't seem to work. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

That's odd. Didn't make any difference in my chart, though.

So I created a new chart from scratch (the other one was cloned) and now it does work.

I appreciate the effort!

I think it goes with the size of Gauge chart, try resizing the chart.

One more option would be press ctrl+Alt you will get red box option try resizing only the scales

Thanks for your reply.

That was my problem in the first place. I need the chart to be smaller but resizing only affects the chart with the label staying the same .

Unfortunately there is no red box only for the scale.

Hi, it's possible to change the size of the font using the font button that you have highlighted, but the chart itself then changes to "fit" see below image

You could "fake it" by changing both the font size and the chart . Personally I prefer a cleaner look anyway without any borders, so this works well for me,  however I appreciate that might not be the case for everyone. See below - normally I wouldn't have a caption either.

Does this work for you?

No that's the thing, changing that font size doesn't do anything whatsoever.

I don't know if there's a box I need to check/uncheck or something like that.

Hi Riccardo - I've replicated your settings locally, and found that when I have 7 units in the scale, I'm unable to change the font size (or it doesn't display at all below a certain size) , but when I have 6, it works.

Perhaps it adjusts in this way to reduce crowding. It's annoying though.

What happens when you set it to a lower figure, such as 5?
