Gauge Chart Settings

I would like to show the values around the chart as 3K, 6K, 9K, 12K and 15K while still being able to show the actual value of the Sales when hovering over the chart needle (300).

I have tried several number format changes without the desired result.

I have attached a sample QlikView application showing this chart.

Is what I am trying to do possible in QlikView??

Thanks for your help.

I don't think it's possible without putting two gauge charts on top of each other. It's far easier to add a Text in Chart object to the gauge chart. See attached qvw.

Thanks, Gysbert.  That seems to work.

One quick question - What does the "DUAL('Moooo', ....." function do?  I have not seen that before.

Thanks again,

Ed

Ah, ehm, ignore that. I forgot to remove something I tried but didn't work.

The dual function is used to give a value both a numeric value and a text value for display. You can find a more detailed description and an example in the help file.
