We want to read data from a Oracle Db via QV Publisher. There is a Firewall between these 2 servers because they are on different locations in the network.
A connection to the Db via servername/service or TNSname succeeds. Retrieving data is the problem. A telnet session to servername:1521 is ok, so the default Oracle port is open
Which things do we have to check, to get this working ? It seems that the SQL Selects gets a timeout, so the job stays running in QEMC.
