Getting Duplicate records in Straight Table
Hello All,
I need some help to avoid duplicate records from the straight table. I have gone through some of the posts before posting this but could not help me to get rid of the issue.
In the attached excel, I mentioned sample records of OTBI/CDM, EBS and Salesforce. The join between these three tables will be 'Customer Account Number'. But When I make this to join is giving duplicate records in the report attached. I tried with a composite key but there is nothing difference I see.
The requirement is to show the records where the Network type and Status is different in three tables.
Note: There are no@@ measure all are dimensions.
Could one of you please help me? stalwar1
thanks in advance

This was resolved by concatinating three tables and applying Generic load on each column.

Hi Vamshi,
I would prefer to rename all columns into generic names for QV to apply association rules to concatenate tables.
Then, add in the system name in each table to differentiate which system does the record come from.
In the attached file, select the ID and system to show the records with different Network type and Status.
Thanks and regards,
Arthur Fong

Thanks, Arthur for your immediate response.
I tried the approach which you have give but I do have more columns in CDM tables which should be linked to other (Child) data model.
Moreover, I should show this in a single row.
Thanks,
Vamshi

Because these values are not same on each of the row.... the CDM Master # is repeating
If it were to be one a single row... which of 3 option would you want to see? High? Low? or Medium?

But it should display like,
CDM | EBS | H1
High Low High
Low Low Medium or High low Medium
Low Low Low

You are showing me three rows? You want one row or 3 rows? I am not sure what you are looking to get?

I need three rows but based on join it is being populated in records.
The main logic is to show the rows where the network type and status is the difference in three systems.

Can you highlight which three rows do you want for CDM Master # = 123456?
