Getting logged in users information from the application into QlickView???

Hi All,

I want to implement security to my QV files.As of now i am doing it through NTNAME. and its working proper.It takes the NTlogin name from the windows OS.

But here my requirement is like below.

I have one application and the user is logged in to the application ,so the authentication part is already over, now if i will open the QV reports in that application ,i want the logged in user id from the application should be sent to the Qlickview Section access script and inturn it should implement the security.

Can i send the looged in users id as a variable (or in any other way ) to my QV script,so that any one logs in to the application QV should fetch the user information dynamically from the application?

Is this possible?

Hi,

Just to modify to make the point clear,

I want to send the HTTP information from the existing opened application to my Qlickview application / QlickView reports. What i mean to say here the user information should be passed as a HTTP call from the application to the QlickView page ,so that the security inside the QlickView reports will be according to the user logged in to the already opened application.

Hope i am clear here.

Please provide some solution ,i need this urgent.
