Google Map display skewed

I have a strange problem. On my developer machine, when I view QVW's with Google Maps, all my maps come up with the data offset. This offset changes with the map zoom level. See below. Obviously all the blue dots are 'shifted" to the "southeast".

When I open the very same application on our server it works fine.

The QV version on my machine and the server are the same and the Windows screen resolution is the same.

Any clues!?!?

Problem ended up being with the Windows display settings. The DPI setting had been set to "large". Changing it back to "normal" fixed the problem.

  1. Right click the Windows desktop.
  2. Click Properties.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click the Advanced button.
  5. Change the DPI setting to "normal size":

Did this really solve the problem.

I found in the forum another solution

Both solution did not solve the issue for me.

Changing the DPI setting did fix my specific problem. You may be having a different problem. I would suggest creating a new post and attaching a specific example of what you are seeing and what Google map settings you have.

Good luck!
