Hi,
Really keen to use this ... I have generated a series of decimal based coordinates and linked these against the listed countries in my key dataset ... putting these onto the map, creates the below ... the dots don't quite align to the countries. I have followed the below formula to convert a list of degree, minutes etc into decimal ... can anyone shed light on where this may have gone wrong - formula or qlikview?
Decimal Coordinate = Degrees + Minutes/60
Ah ... the 0 on the X Axis is line up with the international date line ... should the zero not sit on Greewich?
hi
Yes of course X=0 is Greenwich, Y=0 is equator.
Could you post your application maybe I could have a look.
I have already experimented some bugs at small scale with lags on the maps.

Hi,
It has been a long time ... we wanted to focus on other bits ... I have attached a document that pulls lat and long in from the Google GeoCode and you can see that I the map is just not laying out correctly
Any help or pointers greatly appreciated.
