Google Maps not rendering image/map

We have implemented Google Maps in our QV application.

Everything was functioning great, until today.

Problem is - when a user opens the app he/she gets:

Furthermore, when a user does a minor change (zoom-in or zoom-out or sets different parameters) google renders the correct image.

Did anyone face the same problem before?
