Hi All,
I have a question if this is possible in the pivot chart. I have a table:
Type | Quantity | Revenue | ||
Month | Jan-14 | Feb-14 | Jan-14 | Feb-14 |
F1 | ||||
A | 100 | 200 | 350 | 100 |
B | 150 | 300 | 120 | 230 |
C | 500 | 200 | 700 | 650 |
Grand Total | 1170 | 980 |
I only want to show the GRAND TOTAL for Revenue. Not in quantity. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Lyn
Try this
I dont think Grand totals are possible in Pivot . You can use some trick like using text boxes and
Try
tab Presentation ->Show Partial Sums
Yes, I know that you can show the partial sums. but the grand total for quantity will also be shown. I don't want to show that. I only want to show the grand total for revenue.
Try this
Hello,
This trick might be helpful:
1. Right mouse click on top of the Subtotal you don't want
2. Select Custom Format Cell
3. Make the text color equal to the background color
Cheers,
Alberto
Assuming that you are using Sum(Quantity) as expression.
After enable the partial sum you will get grand total for both revenue and quantity
for quantity expression alone change it like this
If(RowNo() > 0, Sum(Quantity), '')
Hope it helps
Hi lyn,
I think it is not possible in pivot table
but u can use Straight table and in the expression tab select No Total for which total u don't want to show..
