Does anyone know of a way to make a group which only contains existing groups?
For example, you have defined GroupA and GroupB, but you wish to create GroupC. GroupC should contain both GroupA and GroupB.
Thanks.

Hi,
As far as I know, it is not possible to do what you are looking for. I could be wrong though.
Thanks
Nick

I've never tried this myself, but it might work if your GroupC contains 2 calculated dimensions:
1: getcurrentfield(GroupA)
2: getcurrentfield(GroupB)
You won't actually be able to see multiple cycles button within 1 chart, but the functionality itself might work. Interesting question!
Cheers,

Thanks gents for the quick replies.
I also don't believe nested groups are [yet?] possible, but thought to ask as I've only been using QlikView a few weeks.
Vlad, that is an interesting idea but not functional for my purpose, but I'll stash it in the back of my mind should it be useful someday.
Best Regards.
