Hi,
The data I am working on has missing entries for few Years for few Divisions , we are concatenating data from multiple Divisions into a single table.
Now, what i see is sum(Measure) is coming as - for few entries when i try isnull(trim(sum(Measure))) that is also showing as - .So , my requirement is to highlight the null values but niether isnull(trim(sum(Measure)))nor len(trim(sum(Measure))) is returning any value all it returns is - , when so how do i deal with this situation?

@anushree1 You are suppressing zeros in your chart. Uncheck that box and try again. See attached QVW.
My first guess would be that you have dimensions in your dimension table that does not have any associated rows in the measure table. The - you are seeing is not a NULL it's a missing value.
Try to localise and check the suppress missing property of your object.
Thanks for the reply Vegar, your response made me think through what exactly caused the issue.
My super apologies that i did not think about this before as I was all worked up with the issue.
So , the problem is that I am using a Pivot and dragging dimensions as columns so qlik is marking the rows that does nt have any value as - , so i think there is no question of Null here.
I have attached the sample of the data and i would want the cells marked as - to be colored in red.
I cannot use cross table as I have data for multiple divisions coming from multiple ETL files which feed into a single app with a common structure and layout.
I can anyways create a dummy column if need be, to solve the issue.
Can you please help me on the same
Any suggestions?
